Shaniqua Bascombe was in tears at the Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow, Scotland, yesterday, following her silver medal dash in the Commonwealth Games women’s 200 metres final.
Bascombe completed the half-lap race in a fast 22.35 seconds. The 22-year-old Trinidad and Tobago sprinter finished behind Adaejah Hodge of British Virgin Islands, the gold medallist in 22.07.
